Research

The topics of my research are in the field of genotoxicity caused by hazardous substances, chemical carcinogenesis and genotoxicological-epidemiological studies in occupational and environmental risk assessment. The overall goal is to protect persons from work- or environment-related diseases. Apart from genotoxicity, my focus is also on evaluation of toxic effects in animal studies and on the impact of bioavailability of substances in risk assessment.

Service

Institutional Animal Welfare Officer for the experimental animal unit of the IPA and Bergmannsheil University Clinic.
